You know the 12 Verses of Love calendar you got ages ago? Can you believe we are already through the first two months of it?! So now the question is, what to do with the first two pages—I hope you didn't trash 'em. :)
I did advertise that the entire calendar can basically turn into 12 lovely floral 7x7" prints, but I didn't quite write it out on the calendar packaging. Just so you know, our next #12PraiseVerses calendar will also yield 12 individual prints—but bigger!
Anyway, turning your calendar into prints is VERY simple. You only need a ruler and something to cut the paper with. I used my gigantic paper cutter. I have my January and February pages here.
1. I measured out 7 inches between the hole at the top right down to the month. By the way, it doesn't have to be EXACTLY 7 inches. Don't worry about the width, because it's already 7 inches wide.
2. Get as close to the hole (top) and the months (bottom) as you can, and draw lines in pencil.
3. Then cut!
4. Now you have cute little square prints with beautiful blooms and meaningful Scripture. Pop out to get a couple 7x7" frames or be lazy like me and display them plain.
For someone who makes and sells prints, I really don't have much on the walls. Other than my studio, I have nothing on the walls everywhere else. For now, I think I like them bare. One day, I will go out and buy 20 frames for the house when they are like 50% off...I will let you know when that happens.
These prints would be perfect as sets around the house. Put three in a row or four or six stacked to create a beautiful arrangement. They would be adorable in a nursery, bathroom, above a desk, or even an entryway of your home with some plants.
Mine will be sitting side by side in my office, keeping me company while I work. And the IKEA fake plant helps, too.
Hey, you get two for one. Actually, in this case, TWELVE for one. ;)
Now this makes me extra excited to bring you the next calendars in a few months! Stay tuned, my friends. x
